Welcome to 's Best of August feature infrared pictures selected by r72 admins.

August is a bit of a mixed blessing for IR photography (in the northern hemisphere anyway).  The hot weather and high altitude clouds make for great photos, but the hot weather can also keep photographers indoors.  This is reflected in a fairly low overall number of submissions this month while the quality of submissions was quite good.
