Paul-Loebe-Haus infrared

Opposite of Merkels Palace is the Paul-Löbe-Haus. The Paul-Löbe-Building houses the committees of the Bundestag just meters away from the Reichstag building. Named after the last democratic President of the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic, the light-flooded building belongs at river Spree to "bond of the federation", which connects the two formerly separated by the wall parts of the capital. The "Band des Bundes" consists of the new Chancellery, the Paul Löbe building on the west side of the river and the Marie-Elisabeth-Lueders-Haus on the east side.
